Your dog's health is very important to us, and this is a very durable bed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll of the foam is stuffed into cotton pillows before being inserted into the bed, which means you can remove the pillows, and wash both the bed and the pillow, as well as dry them. Be sure to \u003cstrong\u003erun the pillows on a LOW HEAT\u003c\/strong\u003e dry cycle, and send it through at least twice to make sure all the moisture is removed; \u003cstrong\u003ehang dry the nylon\/cotton layer\u003c\/strong\u003e, and be sure to reverse it and hit it with a fan for a few hours before closing it back up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur foam comes from the scrap foam we accumulate making our Glenn Cronkhite Guitar Bags, and most of it is a 2.2 pound high density, high resilience foam. Most furniture foam is actually less dense than 2.2 pound, and some of ours is closer to 3 pound density. This is high quality, durable stuff, folks! Woof! We know this because our gig bags are famous for lasting 30+ years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe don’t want to take the time to rethread our machines, so you’re getting the same thread treatment that our gig bags get —  a VERY heavy, durable Tex-140 thread that is easy to lock. Disco Doggy Dog Beds should be considered a once-a-dog purchase.
